The local MeT office has warned of heavy rains during next 48 hours at few places in the state and rains and thundershowers at many places across the state.
Jogindernagar in Mandi district was wettest in the region with 107 mm of rains while, Manali and Paonta Sahib recorded 36 mm and 31 mm of rains, followed by Dharamsala 21 mm, Una 16 mm, Palampur and Bangana 15 mm, Bhuntar 13 mm and Ghamroor 12 mm.
Mercury dropped by 2 degrees Celsius in lower hills and Una was hottest in the region with maximum temperature at 32.8 deg while Kangra and Sundernagar recorded a high of 32 deg and 31.9 deg followed by Dharamsala and Solan 27.4 deg, Nahan 25.7 deg, Manali 25.2 deg and Shimla 22.4 deg C.
