"The Congress leader does not want the GST bill passed because he knows it is a good step for the people and would be another feather in the cap of BJP government.. For having this mentality, I would call him bechara," She told reporters here.
A taxation system like the GST will boost the country's economy and bring uniformity in the economic front. It will be good for the country and beneficial for the people, she said.
"Gandhi is trying to take on a person (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) who is doing so much good for the country. He should instead support the Prime Minister and not obstruct the good work," Malini said.
Malini termed actor-turned leader Shatrughan Sinha's recent controversial comments as "personal".
