Political stability is on the top of the agenda for governance of Jharkhand government, which released its Common Minimum Programme (CMP) today.
"It will be a big challenge to bring the CMP to the surface and this government will accomplish it," Chief Minister Hemant Soren said after unraveling the CMP.
Emphasising on maintaining secular and progressive values, the CMP promised to address problems and needs of all the weaker sections.
Pledging political stability, the CMP highlighted three main challenges - driving away political instability, insecurity and backwardness.
For better coordination and governance, three committees will be set up. There will be a panel to oversee proper implementation of schemes of the ruling coalition, second will be a coordination committee and the third a special committee to define state's domicile policy.
The government also pledged complete ban of consumption of alcohol in public.
