As per the agreement between Henry Ford Health System and Pearl Human Care, the former would provide technology licence while the latter will be responsible for creating the infrastructure and managing the hospital.
"To be built with an investment of Rs 330 crore in Vellore, the 400-bed super-speciality hospital is expected to begin operations by 2019," Pearl Human Care Chairman and Managing Director G V Sampath said in a statement.
The hospital would be managed by a team of in-house medical experts and international consultants guided by Henry Ford Health System.

Initially, the hospital will have 250 beds which would be scaled up to 400. The hospital would provide primary care, besides advanced speciality in cardiology and orthopaedics, he said.
