Gossain, a late entrant into the field of art has over the last four years captured the winged beauties as large sized oil paintings.
The collection of 25 canvas titled "Birds, Butterflies and Henry Moore" says Gossain is part of his "celebration in space."
"I have used form as a derivative. It is centre stage. I have to salute Henry Moore because he is a very clearly a master who had dedicated himself to the form and he could transform any form into the language of art," says Gossain.
The Delhi-based author's solo is being inaugurated tomorrow here and is scheduled to continue till August 19.
British sculptor and artist Henry Moore was best known for his semi-abstract monumental bronze sculptures which are located around the world mostly in open spaces as public works of art.
In his vibrant collection of paintings the artist says he lets a bird run through like a common thread in-between many of his canvases. (MORE)
