Herion, cash seized; 3 arrested

Three alleged hardcore criminals were arrested and 35 grams of heroin and Rs 3.80 lakh were seized from their possession in two separate incidents here today.
During a checking at Shamshan Ghat Bhour Camp here, police signalled two persons on a bike to stop but they tried to sped away from the spot, a police officer said.
The police party chased the duo besides alerting other security personnel at other check points. After a shot chase they were apprehended, he said.
20 grams of heroin, three sharp-edged weapons and cash Rs 3.80 lakh were seized from their possession, the officer said.

Both the accused are known alleged drug paddlers and several alleged criminal cases are registered against them at various police stations in the city.
In another incident, police apprehended a person and during his search seized 15 grams of heroine and one sharp-edged weapon from his possession.
