Heroin recovered, three held
"The arrested persons have been identified as Sarabjit Singh, Lovepreet Singh and Surinder Pal Singh, all residents of Kapurthala," SSP Inderbir Singh said.
Police on a tip-off intercepted a car near Rajapur village and on its search recovered one-kg heroin along with hundred grams of intoxicants from the possession of car occupants, he said.
A case under NDPS Act was registered against the three arrested and the car used in the crime seized, the police officer said.
