Heroin worth 1.5 lakh seized, two women arrested

The Mizoram Excise and Narcotics department officials seized 38 grams of heroin from two different places in the state capital and arrested two women for possessing the contraband, a spokesman today said.
The heroin is worth around Rs 1.5 lakh in the local market, the spokesperson said.
The accused persons were booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, he added.
