Acting on a tip-off, a Customs department team seized seven kgs of heroin from a goods train that arrived here from Pakistan today, they said.
The heroin was found concealed in a cement bag during rummaging of the goods in the train, the officials said.
The Border Security Force recovered four kgs of heroin in an agricultural field in village Narli near the Indo-Pak border in another operation last night.
A BSF patrol noticed some suspicious movement on the Indo-Pak border and before it reached the scene, the drug smugglers had fled.
The patrol team found four packets of heroin at the scene, the officials said adding the the drug was smuggled from Pakistan.
During this year, the BSF has seized 194 kgs of heroin worth Rs 970 crore in the international market, the officials said.
