"Based on specific information, the Samote based Rashtriya Rifles battalion under the aegis of Rashtriya Rifles Uniform Force Headquarters, Reasi along with the police personnel recovered arms and ammunition from Shapur area of Rajouri District", a defense spokesman said.
He said that in the joint operation the security forces travelled over rugged terrain and dense forest area and recovered one AK Rifle with magazine along with 48 rounds of AK, 22 rounds of Pika, three rounds of pistol, and one round of RPG from a natural hideout.
