High alert sounded in Bihar in view of I-Day celebrations

The security arrangements have been beefed up in Bihar and the police have been directed to observe vigil and patrolling at vital government installations and public places, Additional Director General of Police (Headquarters) Ravindra Kumar said.

The state police have been directed specifically to ensure security at all important public places where the national tricolour will be hoisted on the Independence Day on August 15, he said.
