There are around 700 premium salons across the state, many of them carrying international tag, Mohammad Zayed, hair stylist at 'Naturals' said.
The state capital has outlets of international brands like Loreal, Silivia and those of beautician Shehnaz Hussain where womenfolk make a beeline.
These fashion stopover of women are making fat sums of money. Wedding seasons is boom time for the salons with prospective brides trooping there to brighten their looks.
The income of spa hubs and salons are above Rs 8 lakh per month in the off seasons, while during wedding seasons their income rises to more than Rs 10 lakh, Zayed said.

Many salons and parlours are coming out with lofty discount promises to lure customers to their outlets, Zayed added.
They keep cosmetic items of international repute which gives a new look to the fashion conscious.
The trend has also generated employment for many. More than 20 persons are employed in a salon.
"Today Bihar is no less fashionable than a metro or other big cities", Diksha Singh, one of the customer said.
