"The fertiliser policy of the government is wrong due to which rates of the fertilisers are spiralling which is not in the interest of farmers. The government should increase subsidy which should go directly to farmers' bank account," Morcha president Omprakash Dhankar told reporters here.
The farmers body would organise a dharna to protest against decontrol of prices on various items in the fertiliser sector at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on August 20, Dhankar said.
BJP National President Nitin Gadkari and other leaders would submit memorandum to the Prime Minister in this regard, he added.
