According to the weatherman, humidity levels were recorded between 40 and 79 per cent during the day.
The national capital received 3.6 mm rainfall till 8.30 am here. However, there was no rain in the city anywhere between 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
The minimum temperature was registered at 28.4 degrees Celsius, which is normal for this part of the year.
While mercury at the Safdarjung observatory settled at 41.3 degrees Celsius, considered to be the official reading for the city, temperature at Palam observatory was recorded at 41.5 degrees Celsius.

The maximum in the city had yesterday settled at 43.3 degrees, four notches above normal, while the minimum was recorded at 29.2 degrees, a notch above normal.
"There would be a partly cloudy sky tomorrow and thundery conditions may occur in some parts of the national capital while maximum and minimum temperature may settle at 42 and 29 degree Celsius respectively," said a MeT official.
Intermittent showers in the city from Thursday to Saturday last week had given Delhiites respite from the extremely hot and dry conditions which persisted from June 3 to June 9 when temperature hovered around the 45 degrees-mark. The rain, however, has caused humidity levels to increase.
