The local people at Tikarpanga junction on the NH 5(A) nabbed the robbers and handed themover to the police after the truck driver raised alarm.
The trio confessed to committing a series of robberies on NH-5(A) and Cuttack-Paradip state highway in the past. However they had never been apprehended earlier, police added.
