The newly constituted state executive ofthe BJP which held its first meeting here adopted the political resolution, demanding that the chief minister quit on moral grounds in the wake of alleged corruption charges levelled against him and in case he refuses to do so, he should be dismissed.
The Congress leadership, both in the in the state and at the Centre is openly "supporting corruption" and the BJP would launch a mass agitation to expose the alleged corruption of chief minister and his family members, the resolution said.
The state executive accused the government of mis-utilisation the funds received from the Centre and alleged that corruption was rampant in PWD, Irrigation and Public health, Food and civil supplies, power and industry departments and the government debt has touched Rs 46,000 crore.
The resolution thanked the Modi government for increasing Himachal's share in Central taxes from 32 per cent to 42 per cent, restoring funding pattern of 90:10 between Centre and the state for centrally sponsored schemes and implementing "one rank, one pension" scheme for ex-servicemen and also listed the projects and programmes sanctioned to the state.
