Himachal CM condoles death of gangrape victim

"Stringent laws should be adopted to prevent crime against women and their honour should be protected at every cost. Criminals committing such barbaric crimes should be brought to the book," Singh told reporters here.

The chief minster prayed to the almighty to give peace to the departed soul and strength to the family members to bear the irreparable loss.

The girl, who was gang-raped and brutally assaulted by six men in a moving bus in south Delhi, died in a Singapore hospital early this morning after battling for life for the past 13 days.
