Himachal Guv, CM greet extend Diwali greetings

Himachal Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh have extended their greetings and good wishes to the people of the state ahead of the festive occasion of Diwali.
Governor, in his message, said that Diwali symbolises joy and happiness and mark the victory of good over evil and light over darkness.
He expressed hopes that the festival would bring joy and happiness into the lives of the people.
Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh hoped that the festival of Diwali would bring light in the lives of the people and bless them with happiness, peace and prosperity, besides strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and unity.
Singh said that Diwali was one of the major festivals of country and people of all regions and religions celebrate it.
He advised people to celebrate the festival in traditional manner and wished them safe and happy Deepawali.
The Council of Ministers and Chief Parliamentary secretaries also extended their greetings to the people on this occasion.
Leader of the Opposition PK Dhumal, Former chief minister Shanta Kumar, state BJP chief Satpal Singh Satti, Chief spokesman of BJP Ganesh dutt, HPCC president Sukhvinder Singh Sukkhu and host of other leaders have greeted people on the eve of Diwali.
