The condition of Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, who was taken ill on Sunday night, is improving and all the tests including ultra sound, ECG and blood tests are normal, hospital sources said today.
"His condition is much better but as a precaution, he has been kept under observation and has not been discharged today," said Senior Medical Superintendent, IGMC, Dr Ramesh, adding, that the cough due to viral infection was also under control.
Chief Justice of Himachal High Court Mansoor Ahmed Mir also visited Singh to know about his well-being.
Singh, who recently toured the remote Dodra Kwar area here, was feeling uneasy due to dust pollution and his cough aggravated due to smoke of crackers and fireworks during Diwali.
He was then admitted to IGMC Shimla after he complained of acute cough and breathlessness on Sunday night.
