Himachal Pradesh Raj Bhawan to go 'cashless'

Himachal Pradesh Governor Acharya Devvrat today stressed on the need to adopt a 'cashless' system in the state and to begin with he directed the Raj Bhawan staff to ensure that all transactions are made online.
Himachal Pradesh Raj Bhawan would go cashless and all payments be made online, an official spokesman said here.
The Governor has directed the Raj Bhawan staff to ensure that all transactions be made online and stressed on the need for adopting a cashless system across the state, he added.
He also called upon the teachers and NGOs to make people aware about cashless transactions and welcomed the decision of Prime minister Narendra Modi to demonetise Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes to unearth black money, running a parallel economy.
He expressed hoped that the cashless economy would go a long way in completely eliminating black money and people would also get accustomed to it.
