Addressing the concluding ceremony, Governor Urmila Singh said the fair was a manifestation of the reverence and devotion of Lord Parshuram towards his mother Mata Renukaji, an official release quoting her said.
Renukaji has its own religious sanctity and people from and outside the state visit the place to pay their obeisance, she added.
The fairs and festivals are symbols of rich cultural heritage and should be preserved at all cost, she noted, adding that such festivals showcase glimpse of rich tradition.
Earlier, the Governor performed rituals in Lord Prashuramji and Mata Renukaji temples and also participated int the 'Dev Vidai' procession.
Over 10 lakhs devotees thronged from different parts of the country to take a holy dip in the lake throughout the fair.
