Its net profit stood at Rs 19.04 crore in the same quarter last year, the Kolkata-based company said in a regulatory filing.
Net income increased to Rs 469.90 crore in the July- September period of the 2017-18 fiscal from Rs 384.22 crore in the year-ago period.
Revenue from its carbon materials and chemicals business rose to Rs 462.58 crore from Rs 376.60 crore, but the power business reported a flat growth in the period under review, the filing added.
