Sajid, who has made films like 'Heyy Babyy' and the 'Housefull' series, says he can never deliver a flop and is confident about the fate of the upcoming film, an adaptation of 1983 hit Jeetendra-Sridevi starrer with Ajay Devgn in the lead.
"I can't say I am a great director but I am the greatest audience... Since childhood I have done nothing other than watching films. Cinema is my life and I can never make a flop film. I make films for audience and not for myself," Sajid said here during the sound recording session for chartbuster song 'Taaki O Taaki' by 100 musicians for 'Himmatwala'.
"I will never let down the audience. I have proved that three times, I will do that again. My film 'Himmatwala' will cross Rs 100 crores in first week," he said.
Sajid has told lead actor Ajay that the movie will be a superhit.
Ajay said, "I like that attitude. It is a kind of confidence which you should have. Sajid is sure of what he is doing. So it gives you a push and after I heard the script I agreed with him and I am sure it will be a fabulous film."
Recently, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra made a comment saying all rubbish films make Rs 100 crores at the box office.
On this, Sajid said, "I don't know about numbers if the audience likes the film then it does well. Rubbish films are the ones which make Rs 100 crore because the audience likes them and you can't rubbish the audience.
"The ultimate verdict is of the audience... The numbers are not important, it is the feeling of the audience that is important."
