"Hindi's simple vocabulary in governance will bridge the gap between administration and people as it is a powerful medium for dialogue and extending benefits to people," the Chief Minister said while chairing a session on "Hindi in Governance" at ongoing 10th Vishwa Hindi Sammelan here yesterday.
Chouhan said administrators used to maintain distance from people before Independence using English, which later created a mentality that only a speaker of English is the best.
He underlined that there is no lack of talent, capacity and ability among Hindi-medium students.
"This has been proved by SC and ST students of remote areas of the state who passed entrance tests of national-level educational institutions this year," Chouhan said.
