Hindi litterateurs Singh, Dubey to be honoured

Madhya Bharat Hindi Sahitya Samiti has decided to honour acclaimed litterateurs Vijay Bahadur Singh and Shyam Sunder Dubey.
Singh will be honoured with the organisation's national level award, which carries a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, while Dubey will be bestowed with regional award that consists of Rs 50,000, Samiti spokesman Arvind Ojha said today.
The two authors will be presented the awards in first week of February in recognition of their contributions to the Hindi literature, he said.
Set up in 1910, the Samiti is one of the country's oldest organisations devoted to promotion of Hindi.
