Film's director Suhaib Ilyasi has lodged a complaint with the Connaught Place Police Station following a "threat" call from Vishnu Gupta, the chief of Hindu Sena, allegedly threatening to disrupt the launch.
"I have met DCP, New Delhi, today to talk about the threat regarding disruption of the music launch of my film 'Ghar Wapasi' tomorrow. The film stars Ghulam Ali sahab and the Hindu Sena president is saying that they will not let the event to happen," Ilyasi said.
Gupta, meanwhile, claimed the film was "anti-Hindu" and "we have sought cancellation of its music launch. We have decided to protest against it".
A senior Delhi Police officer said Ilyasi had approached them and adequate security will be ensured at the venue. "Legal action will be taken against anyone who disrupts law and order," he said.
