Hinduja Ventures to consolidate media business

Hinduja Ventures Ltd (HVL) today announced consolidation of its media business with the appointment of Tony D'silva as Group CEO, Media of the firm.
"In order to consolidate all media initiatives of HVL, D'silva is being re-designated as Group CEO - Media of Hinduja Ventures Limited," HVL said in a statement.
As Group CEO - Media and MD & CEO of IMCL, D'silva will hold the responsibility to restructure entire media business and value creation, it added.
The company, which announced an investment of Rs 300 crore in the media business, said its board has appointed D'silva as the Managing Director and CEO of IMCL with immediate effect. He is currently President of HVL.
The development comes in the wake of Ravi Mansukhani, the Managing Director of the firm's flagship cable company IndusInd Media & Communications, stepping down.
D'silva has been associated with Hinduja Ventures Ltd for last 1.5 years and comes with more than four decades of experience spread across Media, FMCG and Pharma sectors holding senior positions, the statement said.
The company said Mansukhani has expressed his desire to relinquish his services and the Board of Directors in their meeting held today accepted his request.
