According to RecruiteX - TimesJobs.Com's recruitment index, infrastructure sector was the top employment generator in September, 2015 with a solid 10 per cent rise in hiring, while in terms of locations, tier-II cities lead talent demand.
"The government's push to create 100 smart cities comprising of modern digitally-connected infrastructure has started to impact hiring in India Inc, with a rise in demand for key personnel in the infrastructure industry, and across tier-II cities," TimesJobs' COO Vivek Madhukar said.
Other big employers that are witnessing considerable gains are the travel & hospitality industry that registered a five per cent rise in demand and the BFSI sector that saw a four per cent uptick.
Meanwhile, candidates with 10-20 years of experience saw four per cent rise in demand, but demand for candidates with over 20 years of experience has seen a nine per cent drop, according to TimesJobs.Com.

The report further said that demand for candidates with less than 2 years of experience increased by four per cent, while demand for middle-level professionals (5-10 years of experience) reported the maximum rise of eight per cent.
Talent demand was buoyant in tier-II cities in September.
Indore topped the chart with a huge rise of 19 per cent.
Among metros, Delhi-NCR posted the highest (8 per cent) rise in demand.
