HMSI eyes sales of 8 lakh two-wheelers in Central India

Two-wheeler major Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Ltd (HMSI) aims to sell eight lakh units in Central India region including Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Uttarakhand during the current fiscal.
"During the current financial year, we have a target sell eight lakh two-wheelers in the Central India region against last fiscal's sale of 7.3 lakh units in the same segment," HMSI Central India Region's Head (Sales) P Rajagopi told PTI on the sidelines of the launch of the company's five new motorcycles.
HMSI hopes that its sales would grow by 12 per cent in Central India region during the current fiscal in view of the increasing demand of two-wheelers, Rajagopi added.
