Hockey Haryana announces cash prize for women hockey players

Hockey Haryana today announced a cash prize of Rs 50,000 to each of its five players who were part of the Indian Junior women's team that won a bronze medal in the FIH Junior World Cup in Monchengladbach, Germany.
The five players represented Hockey Haryana are Rani Rampal, Navjot Kaur, Manjeet Kaur, Navneet Kaur and Poonam Rani.
Congratulating all the five players Hockey Haryana President M L Tayal said, "It's a proud moment for the country and especially Haryana as five of our players have performed exceptionally well in the World Cup".
"Hockey Haryana stands committed to supporting your endeavour to bring laurels to India in future," said Tayal.
Mr. Sunil Malik, Secretary General, Hockey Haryana said these cash awards will be given to all the five players on August 29 on the National Sports Day.
