"I have been offered a film that I am considering doing, I believe its an honest Bollywood film and its called Paani, by Shekhar Kapoor, he's asked me to be a part of it," Trovolta told reporters at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards here.
"I have known Shekhar for a while now. Even though the script does not have it (song) Shekhar said he will put a song to make it truly Bollywood. I am open to working in Hindi films if I like the story and my part," he said.
He has also seen Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh starrer 'Ram Leela' and he liked it.
"I recently saw the Romeo and Juliet one film, 'Ram- Leela'. In that the first musical number was wow. I find Hindi films very original and full of life, it captures your attention unlike any other film and it has a universal theme. I am a big fan of Hindi films. I love the girl in Ram-Leela, (Deepika Padukone) she is a amazing, she is great," he said.
"I think awards like IIFA has a lot of credibility. I am happy to be a part of the grand celebration this year. There are so many awards (in the west) that the charm of the Oscars have diminished, no one can see the difference between the Golden Globes or the Oscars, I think in yours this (IIFA) is the big one and your country and people approve that," he said.
