Home Credit Finance to expand ops to 40 cities by December

Home Credit India Finance, a non-banking financial company, today said it will expand its operations to cover 40 cities by the end of 2015.
"Home Credit India Finance aims to drive credit penetration by offering consumer finance to all. It has announced expansion plans targeting presence in 40 cities across the country by year-end," the company said in a statement.
The firm is part of Home Credit B.V., an international consumer finance provider with operations in 10 countries across Europe and Asia.
It had launched India operations in 2012 and now operates in more than 25 cities across 12 states in the country.
The company offers in-store financing (direct non-cash loans in retail outlets) to qualified customers looking to purchase consumer durable goods such as home appliances, laptop/tablets, mobile phones and two-wheelers.
"We are committed to offer simple, transparent and accessible loans to previously under-served customers, besides guiding them on the path of financial literacy. Our aim is to become the first and most trusted choice for consumer credit in the country," the statement quoted Home Credit India CEO Pavel Maco as saying.
The company currently operates in Delhi NCR, Jalandhar, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jaipur, Lucknow, Pune, Bhopal, Indore, Kanpur, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Jodhpur, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kota, Jabalpur, Kochi, Agra, Nagpur, Raipur, Surat, Nashik, Mysore, and Madurai.
