Hooda attributed the crisis to delayed monsoon and said that the water level of the Bhakra Dam has gone down which has led to less power production.
He, however, added that the Haryana Government is making efforts to resolve this problem.
The solution to this problem has been found and slowly all the power plants would come to normal production of electricity, he said.
Asking people to maintain patience, he said that due to delayed monsoon, it is a combined natural problem of the whole country.
"Whatever is possible at this time, is being done by the Government," he said blaming the opposition of turning the power crisis into a political issue.
Hooda said that when he became the Minister at that time, Haryana used to produce mere 1585 MW of electricity while during the tenure of the present Government, more than 4620 MW of electricity is being produced.
