INLD had given an adjournment motion regarding "irregularities committed in the purchase of land in Haryana by Skylight hospitality company and the controversy connected therewith," but it lapsed yesterday and could not be taken up as the opposition members had been named by the Speaker for their unruly conduct.
Targeting the INLD, whose members were not present in the Assembly as they were suspended for the second day today by the Speaker for their "unruly" behaviour, Hooda said "they (INLD) are the dark past and we are the bright future of Haryana. I think there is no use flogging a dead horse".
Replying on the discussion on Governor's address, Hooda targeted the principal opposition party on various fronts.
