Hooda will begin a statewide "Jan Jagran Abhiyan" from Kandela village. In the programme, Congress General Secretary and party affairs in-charge for the state, Shakeel Ahmad, a number of Congress MLAs from the state and Hooda's supporters will take part, a party leader said.
Hooda, who remained a two-time Chief Minister between 2005-2014, has alleged that the government had failed on various fronts including on the farmers issue.
He has alleged that the state government cheated the people by going back on its promise of providing 24-hour power supply to rural areas, on the issue of old age and widow pension, providing unemployment allowance, on implementing the recommendations of the Swaminathan Commission for farmers and a host of other issues.
Notably, the BJP had formed the government in Haryana for the first time on its own after last year's assembly polls.
