"We believe that this auction will significantly speed up rollout of mobile broadband in the country, besides adding new technologies to augment capacities to cater to the rapidly rising demand for data services," Bharti Infratel MD and CEO D S Rawat said.
He added that it continues to support telecom operators in rollout of 3G and 4G networks across the country.
Bank of America Merrill Lynch in a report said with telcos buying more spectrum, it expects tower companies like Bharti Infratel to also benefit with more deployment.
