"As per the federal structure of our country, the relationship between the state and Union governments should be good," said the Chief Minister who was here to meet a party leader whose wife had passed away.
"I hope that the relationship between the Uttar Pradesh and Union governments is good and the state continues to get the Central grants which it is entitled to," he said.
"People should understand that state government alone is not responsible for all the problems of the state and the Central government is equally responsible.
"Take the example of the national highways. People in the state say that the state government should repair the highways. But these highways come under the jurisdiction of the national government and it should get them repaired. The state government is repairing the roads under its jurisdiction," he said.
