Hopeful of playing few more year for the country: Yuvraj

On his own admission, he is a fighter and Yuvraj Singh strongly believes that this fighting spirit will help him play a few more years of international cricket.
"I am hopeful of playing for few more years for the country," Yuvraj said in a programme here.
The mercurial left-handed allrounder has been included in the 15-man squad for the Twenty20 International and the first three matches in the seven-match ODI series against Australia at home.
Noting that his passion for the game got him back, after being detected with rare germ-cell cancer.
"I've always been a fighter and the inspiration to fight cancer comes from the game and the passion for the game. Attration of the game has got me back," said Singh.
Yuvraj said that detection of cancer is a life changing experience and it needs lot of strenght and courage to fight it and emerge victorious.
"It's not easy its a fight within yourself. It's a life-changing experience...Only mothers know what their children go through...It's a personal battle...You need a lot of strenght and courage," he said.
While he heaped praises on his senior teammates Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid, Yuvraj said he has always looked upto his first captain Sourav for advice.
