"Stand With Malala" is a campaign of the American documentary, "He Named Me Malala", aiming to raise awareness about right to girl's education.
"There have been a number of actors and industry people who have reached out to the Malala fund. We are hopeful that the industry will swell up around this and get engaged," Tooze told PTI.
The film is based on the life of Pakistani female activist and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai, who was attacked by Taliban gunmen for speaking out in support of educating girls in her region of Swat Valley in Pakistan.
"So we're hoping that girls in India can galvanise themselves using this film to stand up for the universal rights to education," she added.
Malala fund has launched a full year campaign that goes along with the film. They will also be giving away 15,000 tickets to people in Mumbai to raise awareness.
Directed by Davis Guggenheim, the one-hour-30-minute film will release in India on November 6.
