Her career defining role was 1992 Mani Ratnam film "Roja" and actress Madhoo, who has starred in a number of Hindi, Tamil and Telegu films, says she is waiting in hope to get good projects again.
The 44-year-old actress' last Hindi project was a supporting role in Amrita Rao-Tusshar Kapoor's "Love U...Mr Kalakaar!". In 2016, she was seen in Telugu film "Nannaku Prematho".
Madhoo says since her two daughters are grown up now, she has the time to concentrate on work.
"I got married. I have two daughters and they are grown up. It gives me time to work and I am hoping I will get great work again. And while I am doing all that waiting and hoping, I am leading a great life," Madhoo told PTI.
When asked if there will ever be a film like "Roja" again coming her way, the actress, who was attending the Lakme Fashion Week here, says, "The way I see life in general, I never look at what has been done. I live by what is happening today and keep an eye for tomorrow."
The actress has recently done a short film "Sab Thik Hai" which has been directed by Raja Mukerji. Madhoo says the movie is currently doing the rounds at several film festivals.
