Nagaland Governor P B Acharya released the Nagaland Vision 2030 document on the occasion.
Chief Minister TR Zeliang delivering the closing speech said through this vision document, "we are charting out the broad contours of our visions and dreams for the future of the state for the next 15 years or so".
"It outlines our visions on creating employment opportunities for our youth, on women empowerment, on improving the income and standard of living of the people in general, on improving connectivity within the state, and with the neighbouring countries", Zeliang maintained.
"It is only with the active involvement and cooperation of every citizen that these visions can be converted into a reality," he added.
Newly crowned Miss Nagaland, Vilokali Zhimomi lit the bonfire which was followed by the unity dance and Christmas concert by renowned artists from within and outside the state.
A total of 1,12,604 visitors, including 1,646 foreign tourists, 14,962 domestic and 95,996 locals enjoyed the festival, said Tourist Officer of the Department of Tourism, Toka E. Tuccumi.
