Host ECR faces defeat in inaugural Railway men Kabaddi match

Host Eastern Central Railway (ECR) faced defeat against Railway Workshop Factory (RWF) Bangaluru by 20-36 in the inaugural match of the 66th All India Railway Men Kabaddi Championship here at the Patliputra Indoor Hall today.
In the other matches of the day, South Eastern Railway (SER) Kolkata beat Diesel Mordanisation Workshop (DMW) Patiala by a narrow margin of 14-13. While Integral Coach Factory (ICF) Kapurthala trounced Southern Western Railway (SWR) Hoogly by 32-8.
South Central Railway (SCR) Sikandrabad won the match comfortably after defeating North Western Railway (NWR) by margin of 19-10.
Earlier, General Manager of ECR D K Gayen inaugurated the three-day Kabaddi championship in the presence of a number of ECR officials.
