Day temperature in the city was recorded at 39.4 deg C, two points above normal and slightly down from yesterday's 39.6 deg C.
There was no reprieve in minimum temperature, which also remained above the 30-degree mark settling at 30.3 deg C, minimally up from previous day's 29.8 deg C.
The maximum humidity was recorded 77 per cent, while the minimum settled at 43 per cent.
The weather office has predicted generally cloudy sky for tomorrow with possibility of light rain and thundershowers in some areas from night onwards.
