Hot wind sweeps Delhi, mercury remains over 40 degree

It was another hot day in the national capital today with mercury remaining over 40 degree Celsius and hot winds blowing all through the day.
The maximum was recorded at 41.9 degree Celsius, three degrees above normal and marginally down from yesterday's 42 deg C, while the minimum was at 26.8 deg C, up from the previous day's 23.7 deg C and two notches above normal.
The humidity remained between 16 and 41 per cent.
The weathermen have predicted a clear sky which may turn cloudy towards evening tomorrow.
Maximum and the minimum temperatures are expected to remain at 42 and 25 degree Celsius respectively.
