According to police, the deceased identified as Peter (40), came to the hotel this morning for duty. At around 11 a.M, he was found hanging in the godown by fellow workers.
On receipt of information, police rushed to the spot and sent the body to Thanjavur Medical College hospital for post-mortem.
The reason for the suicide is not known, police said.
