A 30-year-old man, who hails from Nepal, allegedly jumped to death from the second floor of a city hotel where he was working, police said Friday.
The man, reportedly addicted to alcohol, took the extreme step Thursday midnight, the police said.
The worker is believed to have debts to clear back home, they added.
Based on a complaint from his brother who also works at the hotel, police registered a case under section 174 of CrPC (suicide).
