Shobha Acharjee (34) was cutting vegetables in the kitchen when suddenly her brother-in-law Vim Acharjee hit her with a spade, the sources said.
Shobha husband Arjun was in his shop while her son and daughter were in school when the incident happened. She was rushed to Ranaghat hospital where she was declared brought dead, they said adding police had detained Vim.
