The request has been made to Gandhi in a letter written to her by the Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal, an official release said here today.
Dhumal in the letter has stated that repeated requests had been made to the Centre to provide additional assistance of Rs 5,214 crore to the state to meet the emergent financial committed liabilities but it has turned its cold shoulder towards the demand.
The chief minister also requested Gandhi to get the state details of the so called un-utilised central funds amounting to Rs 10,000 crores as she had stated in her speeches during electioneering followed by other senior Congress leadership.
The state had received Rs 9,597.25 crore under state plan from the year 2008-09 to 2011-12 from the centre while the state plan size was approved at Rs 11,400 crore despite the actual expenditure done was Rs 11,507.17 crore, he said.
