HP Guv presents National Integration awards to 7 people

Himachal Pradesh Governor Acharya Devvrat presented national integration awards to seven personalities of northern India at the annual state-level ceremony of Himotkarsh Sahayat Sanskriti avum Jan Kalyan Parishad (HSSAJK).
Chief Editor of Punjab Kesri group of newspapers Padma Sri Vijay Chopra presided over the function here yesterday. Bureau chief of PTI in Jammu Anil Bhat was awarded Amar Shaheed Lala Jagat Narayan memorial award for excellence in journalism. The award has been instituted in the name of founder of Punjab Kesri group of newspapers, Lala Jagat Narayan who was assassinated by militants in Punjab 1981. Speaking on the occasion, Vijay Chopra congratulated all the awardees and Himotkarsh Sahayat Sanskriti avum Jan Kalyan Parishad (HSSAJK) for organizing the function to encourage the students across Himachal Pradesh.

Himotkarsh Sahayat Sanskriti avum Jan Kalyan Parishad (HSSAJK) has set up Lala Jagat Nagayan Himotkarsh Kanya Mahavidyalay where 530 girls are being given education and boarding and lodging facilities free of cost.
