HP respond strongly to Goa

Paras Dogra struck an unbeaten hundred as Himachal Pradesh produced a steady batting performance to post 298/5 in reply to Goa's first innings total of 324 in their Ranji Trophy Group C cricket match here today.
Resuming at 265/7, Goa folded for 324 with Sagun Kamat being the star performer with his patient knock of 163. Snehal Kauthankar was the other notable contributor with a 186-ball 74 on the second day today.
In response, Himachal produced a solid performance riding on Dogra's 139-run knock which came off 175 balls and included 18 fours and three sixes. N R Gangta also batted well for his 47 before becoming the last wicket to fall today.
